The excitement surrounding Rajinikanth’s latest release, titled ‘Jailer’, shows no signs of diminishing. With the massive popularity the film has gained, fans eagerly packed theaters for its second-day screening shortly after its initial release. Following a strong opening day, the movie, directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, is reaching new heights.
Starting off with a spectacular launch on August 10th, the film received a warm reception in cinemas. Fans celebrated by lighting fireworks and decorating the superstar’s poster with flower petals. JAILER BOX OFFICE COLLECTION
The movie ‘Jailer’ has been receiving high praise from both fans and critics. Early estimates from industry tracker Sacnilk suggest that the film’s earnings on its second day in India could be around Rs 27.00 crore gross. The film had a notable occupancy rate of about 78 percent. With the addition of the second-day collection, the total earnings are predicted to reach approximately Rs 75.35 crore. Notably, the film has achieved the distinction of having the biggest opening of 2023 in Tamil Nadu and Kerala. Despite a slight decline in numbers, the collections are still impressive. This dip could potentially be attributed to the simultaneous release of two major Bollywood films, namely ‘Gadar 2’ and ‘OMG 2.’
Trade analyst Manobala Vijayabalan shared the second-day collection figures for Tamil Nadu on the social media platform Twitter.
