CDSL’s server down, users of Zerodha-ICICI Direct-Upstox are having trouble selling shares

Due to the downing of the CDSL website, there is a problem in generating the TPIN when selling the stock. Zerodha has removed CDSL authorization for the time being.

Today CDSL’s server is not working properly due to which many brokerage houses have complained. Brokerage platforms like Zerodha, Upstox, ICICI Direct said that at this time we are not able to execute any kind of order. Zerodha told its users that they may face problems regarding their authorized stock sale. He is in constant touch with CDSL. Similar complaints have also been made by brokerage platforms like ICICI Direct, Upstox.

Due to the downing of CDSL website, there is a problem in generating the TPIN when selling the stock. Zerodha tweeted that it has removed the CDSL authorization for the time being till this problem is resolved. So far no statement has been issued by CDSL regarding this problem.

The company is not responsible for the loss

Earlier in February 2019, users of Zerodha OMS had to face such technical problems. According to the reports, if any trader or investor is not able to take a position due to this technical problem, then any loss will not be compensated by the company.

More than 7 million users

The number of users of Zerodha is a little more than 7 million. Of these, 5 million are active users. Active users are those traders who have traded at least once in a year. It is currently the largest brokerage platform in the country based on the number of users.
